Beliza: An Elegant Updo

This week’s first offering from Alli&Ali Designs Mainstore is Beliza, a formal updo.

Again, notice the low display weight. In case you missed the earlier post, the display weight is basically how many prims the style adds to your avatar. The lower the better, because it reduces lag.

The complete set, which contains all the colors you see above, is $L1500. You can get it in Mixed Platinum for $L50, or in Autumn Cinnamon as a free gift below the voting board inside the Mainstore.

And I’m back to modeling it in my favorite red:

I like this one. But I’d like it even better if a Certain Someone ever gets off her lazy butt and takes me dining and dancing as she promised. (Hint, hint…)

Regardless, I’ll be adding Beliza to my regular rotation of styles.

Curls, Curls, and More Curls: Melrosa

This week’s offering from Alli&Ali Designs Mainstore is Melrosa, a lovely curly head of hair that looks good on anyone, no matter the color you choose.

It’s another style with a low display weight, and it’s yours for $L1500 for the complete set, as shown above.

If you’re on a tight budget, Melrosa Fire can be had for $L50, while Variety Colors are $L250 the set.

Finally, if you look below the Voting Board, Melrosa in Dark Rose is absolutely free!

And for the last time, I’m modeling it in one of the Vampire colors. For my next entry I’ll be going back to my usual red hair.

So until next time, I’m signing off with my usual

Hurry! Get ‘em While You Can!

Alli&Ali Designs Mainstore has two specials for us this week. But there’s a catch: you won’t find them at any of the usual outlets. They’re Hair Fair exclusives, and that’s where you can find them. But hurry: they’ll be gone after October 7!

Celebration

Appropriately enough, since the Hair Fair is a festival, Celebration is the first offering. It has a very low display weight, and is available in a wide variety of colors and styles. And yes, I’m modeling the red!

I love long, curly styles. What can I say? I’m a girly-girl! Dresses and long hair for me, thank you very much. I revel in my femininity!

And the next selection only underscores my taste:

Dany

Dany comes in four styles and a huge selection of colors. With a low display weight, it won’t bog you down with lag, no matter where you go. And of course, I’m wearing it in red:

Each set sells for $L1500. But if you’re the kind of girl who likes to change her hair color and style to suit your mood, they’re both a steal at that price. Bought separately, this many colors and styles might very well run you over $L2,000!

So Don’t Wait!

Tempus fugit, and October 7 is just around the corner. So hop on over to the SL Hair Fair and grab yours today!

And That’s It For This Week

Oh, yeah: tempus fugit is Latin for time flies.

Sybil: All Colors, or Just a Few

Sybil is a lovely set of curls you won’t find anywhere else than—you guessed it—Alli&Ali Designs Mainstore.

A&A Sybil Hair All Colors-pic

As always, the complete set, including all the colors shown here, sells for $L1500, and as is usual, you can also buy smaller subsets:

Sybil Hair in Russet is a Gift box located  by Style Suggestions, below the Voting Board

You can also get three other color sets:
All Brown Colors: $L250
All Blonde Colors: $L250
Red Colors: $L250

And here am I modelling Sybil in red:

I think I may have just found my newest favorite style!

A Touchy Subject

Or, Making the Carpet Match the Drapes

This week’s offering from Alli&Ali Designs Mainstore is twofold:

Camina is a somewhat straggly-looking style, similar to what your hair might look like after a long day at the office. Or, just as equally, a long night partying. Either way, I like it.

So of course I’m modeling it in my favorite color!

As with all of the new designs from Alli&Ali Designs Mainstore, Camina has a very low display weight, the importance of which I’ve already spoken here.

It also comes in four different styles,  depending on your preferences.

The complete set sells for $L1500, but this week’s sale (at the front of the store) features Camina in caramel for $L50.

You can also buy the Ombre set for $L250:

Matching the Carpet to the Drapes

Okay, ladies. This is a bit more personal…and trickier.

I used the word “trickier” advisedly: I couldn’t find this item in the Mainstore. So here’ what you have to do: go to Alli&Ali Designs Classic. Once there, find the map/kiosk and click on the Pubic Hairs selection. I’ve sent a message to Alice Klinger (owner of A&A) to see where, if at all, it can be found in the Mainstore.

The complete set, with all of the colors you see above, is $L1500. Individual color boxes are $L250 each.

And no, I’m not going to post any pictures of me modeling this set! See me in-world if you’re that interested (or that perverted!).

Remember, the Alli&Ali Designs Mainstore should always be your first stop when shopping for quality hair and accessories.

Dolly: Just for Fun!

hen it comes to Alli&Ali Designs Mainstore, “The Hits Just Keep Comin’” (as they used to say on AM top 40 radio). This week’s featured style is Dolly, and it’s one of my favorite updos. Read on to discover why.

AA-Dolly-Hair-All-Colors-pic.png

I don’t know why Alli&Ali never feature a red in their pictures, but as they say, beggars (and reviewers) can’t be choosers. Still, Dolly is a cute name for a cute style.

Naturally, however, I’m wearing it in red. I like it because it has just the right amount of erotic dishabille. It’s a perfectly fine style to wear in public: it’s an attractive style, yet it also hints at possible pleasures to come in private.

And here’s what’s even better: if you go to the Alli&Ali Designs Mainstore, it’s the gift of the week (in light blonde), or you can buy it in hazel for $L50. The complete set, which comes in all the colors shown above, is priced at $L1500.

I Can’t Overstate How Much I Like Alli&Ali

And not just because I get free styles to review, either. Before I started blogging for them, they were always my go-to vendor for hair and other fashion accessories. In fact, I will go on record right here and state that I believe they have the best hair in all of SL.

Besides the main store, you can also find them at Alli&Ali Designs Classic, in the SL Marketplace, on their website, and on Facebook. But keep in mind that if you want the gifts and discounts, you can only get them at Alli&Ali Designs Mainstore.

Until next time,
