Sometimes you just want a ton of curls—without having to work for them. And that’s the case with Witty, new from Alli&Ali Designs Mainstore.
The complete set, with all the colors shown above, can be yours for $L1200. Individual color sets, containing 16 shades, sell for $L250 each.
But if you’ve been following my blog for any length of time, then you’ll already know to wear your A&A group tag and make your purchase(s) from the Action Wall, so that you’ll receive an immediate refund of 50% of the purchase price.
I like Witty. It’s a quick and easy way for me to wear curls when I’m feeling girly-curly and don’t have time to bother with a curling iron.
Oh…don’t forget to grab your free copy in Black Ocean in front of the voting board!
<sigh> If only it could be this easy in real life!
There’s a great sale on right now at Alli&Ali Designs Mainstore. Now until July 4th, 24 different styles are on sale for only $L99 per package. And when you realize that each package contains 24 different colors, that’s just over $L4 per color!
JWOL, Captain, Invincible and Foster are male styles, the rest are female.
Today’s your lucky day! Two older styles—Makena and Susie—have been updated and are ready for your pleasure. You can find them on the Action Wall at the front of Alli&Ali Designs Mainstore.
But here’s what’s so special about them: if you wear your A&A group tag when you buy them, you’ll get an instant refund of half the purchase price. Which means that at $L250 per set, you end up paying only $L125 for 16 colors in each set,
But wait! That’s not all! (As they say on television.) If you purchased them before, go to the Action Wall and select REDELIVER. You’ll receive the updated styles with the lower display weights for free!
Makena is also available in In Coffee on the Specials Board for $L50. In addition, both styles are available as free gifts at the front desk in Dark Rose. Finally, both are also available in Dark Chocolate as gifts at the Voting Board.
This week’s second offering from Alli&Ali Designs Mainstore is Giordana. It’s another mostly-formal updo with a twist (literally): it’s banded in front by a braid.
It’s the A&A Giordana Hair Variety Colors V2, and it’s available for $L250. Be sure to wear your A&A group tag and make your purchase from the Action Wall; that way, you’ll get an immediate refund of half your purchase price.
Let’s face it: there is so much going on in SL that it’s almost impossible to keep track of it all. So how do you know what’s happening that might interest you?
Obviously, if it’s an event that one of your groups has planned, you’ve probably received a message about it—unless you’ve opted out of Group Messages. In that case, I don’t know what to tell you, since you’re obviously not interested, leaving me to ask why you even belong to that group in the first place.
But let’s assume that you’re receiving regular group notices but want to spread your wings a little, and see what other folks are doing. If this is you, then have I got news for you!
Log out of your SL viewer and fire up your web browser. Look at the top left corner of your screen, which should look something like this:
Click on Events to bring up this screen:
(Click on the image for a larger view)
This won’t bring up my Events Calendar, but rather your own. Now you can see the events open to you. The information includes the date, time, and location, so there’s no excuse for missing out on any of the fun SL has to offer.
So the next time you’re bored, or just looking for something new to do, just check your Events Calendar!
Spring is finally here in Rochester, NY, where I live in Real Life. I know—Real Life: what a concept! But the tulips and daffodils are in bloom, and so is the lilac tree.
And it’s also come to Second Life, in the form of the Spring Romance Fair & Treasure hunt. Where, oh where do I begin? There’s so much going on that I think it best to let Alice Klinger, owner and proprietor of everything having to do with Alli&Ali Designs, explain it:
We cordially invite you to visit the Spring Romance Fair & Treasure hunt!
The latest offering from Alli&Ali Designs Mainstore is Vivianne, a modern take on the classic Gibson Girl style so famous in the 1890s. While it’s not quite so top-heavy as the original, that’s the style that came to mind when I first wore it.
It’s available as an updated release, which means if you’ve bought it before, you can get the new improved version by using the redelivery terminal to get it for free.
Sorry, everyone else—right now it’s only available as an update for those who have already bought it.
